DJ Aaron started his career in the entertainment industry in 2000 while a student at UMKC. What started as a “side gig” as a karaoke jockey at a local pub, has turned into almost two decades of professional entertainment. For the first 5 years in the industry, he focused his time learning how to entertain a crowd on the stage as a KJ/MC, while also honing the art of mixing and live mash-ups in the club environment. He then had the unique opportunity to apprentice within the radio industry, which granted him a perspective of the business that few within his field have had. Through radio involvement, he has opened up for professional musicians, such as Aaron Carter, The Veronicas, Aly and AJ, and The Baha Men; while also growing his reputation within the private sector and the nightlife scene. Aaron has also served as the Music Editor for the national School Dance Network, providing school administrators with song reviews in order to ensure that the music played at their events remained appropriate. These experiences have allowed him to stand out in an oversaturated industry.
Now working in sales full time for the only Kansas City based Fortune 500 company, he still remains passionate about entertaining and music. Continuing to pursue the ability to provide unique entertainment, he is currently focused on mastering live stage music production. Aaron also loves to utilize his creative edge to work with clients to design their events and make their vision a reality. He has realized that there is a major lack of services that are able to host cutting-edge production events, interactive entertainment, and the unique professionalism learned through his background. Aaron’s portfolio includes school events, weddings, birthday parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, graduations, national/local charities events and more. He has been a representative for Radio Disney, Mix 93.3, and WILKS Broadcasting. His sales experience has sharpened his ability to not only determine a clients needs; but also to go above and beyond what is required, in order to form a lasting relationship. His skills, showmanship, and vocal presence on the microphone captivate the audience wherever he plays. DJ Aaron understands how to capture a crowd and motivate the masses into having an unforgettable event. DJ Dave started his involvement with the entertainment industry in 2007, pushing boundaries with cutting edge technologies to mix video. As the first in Kansas City to spin music videos, he quickly made a name for himself and took up DJing full time. Falling in love with turntablism, Dave devoted himself to learning all he could about what was possible with only two turntables. After many events, he realized there was a dire need for a remix service that catered to DJ’s that specialized in music videos for turntablists. Thus, he partnered with a European DJ to launch a music video distribution pool. To this day, Dave’s remixes have been played in thousands of clubs across the world. The love of applying technology to solve problems prompted him to return to school in 2013, studying Mechanical Engineering. That move has ultimately allowed him to grasp and understand the technologic and mathematical aspects of staging, lighting, and sound design. To this day, Daveremains a full time DJ, making appearances at popular nightclubs across Kansas City. Among club owners, he is a favorite due to not only his skills as a DJ, but due to his professional reputation. With a decade of experience, and over 2000 events later, Dave knows the industry inside out and is sure to make any event a success. In his free time, Dave enjoys playing with technology, traveling, and reading.
